I've worked with startups, veterans, for the big and the small. I've packaged for PlayStation with thirty folds and designed for the BBC with a certain yellow bear. I've shot celebrities eating like nobody's watching. I've designed sets to showcase smelly bath salts. I've made ready meals posh with some fancy packaging. I've made a disco ball from shiny 5p's and made a shop you can dance to that won a Lion. I've briefed London designers to abuse some objects. I've exhibited at London Design Week with a salty sculpture. I've won awards for designing boxes, that showed kids in boxes. I've doodled in brand books that won some pencils. I photographed images for a book in Norway and produced posters for Pioneers with great minds. I've launched a hotel using profile pictures and showcased scarves in surreal still lives. I've connected Kenya to London for a Nike interior and made a foosball table from twenty girls. I've decorated Notting Hill with portraits of makers and promoted a festival with some well known phrases. I've sent meerkats spying on a secret mission and packaged some grubs for a Mr Orlov. I've designed a mural that's red and promoted a drink that's pink. I've made better sex from underwear and plates that are fit for royals. I've designed a brochure that tells a story and made a book that yawns. I've made stuff in the big smoke, down under, and now up north. I've thought, rethought, designed. Crafted, recrafted and made. Morton Made Me is a collection of commercial, cultural and award winning projects made by me — Emma Morton. I am a British art director and designer, currently based in the UK working freelance on a variety of creative projects. I partner with purpose-led brands finding unexpected ways to tell their stories. I have helped global brands such as Uber, Nike, PlayStation and Red Stripe communicate their value, as well as being involved in cultural projects for smaller brands. I work closely with clients to develop the best solution for their problems, which means my work to date is varied. I've produced bespoke packaging, brand books, identities, branded environments, right through to experiences, exhibitions, sets, film and integrated campaigns. I create these solutions through strategic thinking and strong concepts, followed through with thoughtfully crafted execution, whether that's through design, art directing, styling, making or collaborating. My work has been awarded at D&AD, Cannes and New York Festivals for both art direction and design. Many projects have also been featured on well known blogs and publications such as It's Nice That, Creative Review, Dazed & Confused and Design Week.
